Role-based access in a multi-company operation
Everyone involved needs a shared operational picture — and nobody needs everyone else's commercial detail. How access separation works in practice.

A shared record raises an immediate and fair question: shared with whom, exactly? A supplier, a surveying company and a buyer are separate businesses that happen to be working on the same delivery.
Three different visibility rules
Naviscope treats communication, timeline and documents differently, because they carry different sensitivity.
- Communication is shared between the parties involved by default, with the option to keep a note internal to your own organisation
- The timeline shares operational events for audit purposes, while internal events stay within the organisation that generated them
- Documents are released on a need-to-know basis, scoped to the side or role they belong to
Separation is the point
Access is enforced per organisation and per role, at the data layer rather than by hiding buttons. That is what makes a single operational record acceptable to parties who are not otherwise in the habit of sharing systems.
